Chairman Gao Quanzhi led the Shanghai Federation of Overseas Chinese Youth Federation to participate in the 16th World Chinese Business Conference

From June 24th to June 26th, under the leadership of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Federation, Mr. Gao Quanzhi, Executive Chairman of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Federation Youth Federation and the Executive Chairman of the Singapore Sande Group, and other relevant leaders led a delegation of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Federation Youth Federation (hereinafter referred to as the "Shanghai Overseas Chinese Youth Federation") to Thailand to participate in the 16th World Chinese Business Conference. Nearly 4000 participants from around the world focused on the theme of "Gathering the Wisdom of Chinese Merchants to Write a New Chapter for the Chinese Ethnic Group" to jointly explore global development opportunities in the post pandemic era for Chinese merchants worldwide. Guests attended the conference, including Surayo Churanan, Chairman of the Privy Council of Thailand, Chen Xu, Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Wan Lijun, Chairman of the Chinese Federation of Overseas Chinese, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Jolin Ratsanawesi, Chairman of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Gao Yunlong, and Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Lin Chuqin.

During their stay in Thailand, the delegation paid a visit to the Thai Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce, held discussions and exchanges with the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, participated in the "Night of Chinese Merchants" event hosted by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and also visited the Bangkok Innovation Cooperation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the spot.

On June 25th, the delegation was invited by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Japan to participate in the "Night of Chinese Merchants" event and exchange business opportunities with Chinese merchants from participating countries. After the meeting, Gao Quanzhi and Yao Heng presented souvenirs on behalf of the Overseas Chinese Youth Association to the Youth Department of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

On June 26th, the delegation visited the Thai Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as safeguarding the rights and interests of Thai youth businessmen, inheriting the spirit of youth businessmen, and building bridges for the exchange and dissemination of excellent Chinese culture between Thailand and China. After the meeting, a signing ceremony was held between the Municipal Overseas Chinese Youth Association and the Thai Overseas Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce for the Friendship Alliance between Overseas Chinese and Youth, and souvenirs were exchanged.

Under the leadership of Chairman Gao Quanzhi, the delegation had discussions and exchanges with Singaporean Chinese business representatives such as President Gao Quanqing of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Vice Chairman Chen Qingshun of the International Affairs Committee, and Chairman Li Jianhui of the Youth Business and Sustainable Development Committee. The representatives at the meeting, in combination with their respective enterprise development history, shared on topics such as the Expo, RCEP and the the Belt and Road. At the meeting, Chairman Gao Quanzhi, on behalf of the City Overseas Chinese Association, signed an Overseas Chinese Friendship Alliance agreement with the Youth Business and Sustainable Development Committee of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, and exchanged souvenirs.
