On December 3, 2023, the awarding ceremony of the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award was grandly held in Shanghai. Mr. KAO CHUAN CHI, Executive Chairman of Sande Group in Singapore, has been awarded the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award. This award is not only a full recognition of the contribution of Chairman Gao Quanzhi by the Shanghai Municipal Government, but also a high recognition of the leapfrog development of Sande (China) Group based in Shanghai and deeply rooted in China.
In order to recognize and express gratitude to outstanding foreign nationals for their positive contributions to the development and construction of Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, under the name of the city flower Magnolia, has established various external recognition projects since 1989, including the Magnolia Memorial Award, Magnolia Honorary Award, and Shanghai Honorary Citizen. So far, 1827 outstanding foreigners have won the Magnolia series awards and become members of the Magnolia family.
