From project initiation, site selection, imported equipment, infrastructure installation... until the project is completed and put into operation. Seven years of entrepreneurial hardships have been unforgettable for both Chinese and foreign sides. It can be said that every cornerstone of Longyan Sande has condensed each other's painstaking efforts. At that time, the "Fujian Daily", "Hong Kong and Taiwan Information News" and "Minxi Daily" published warm congratulations from more than 100 units, which permanently witnessed the high attention of governments and departments at all levels from the central to the local level to Sino-foreign joint ventures.

Fujian Longyan Sande Cement Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. was listed as a key construction project during the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" period in Fujian Province, and was included in the large-scale project of the State Planning Commission using foreign capital. It has become the largest rotary kiln cement plant in the province, with an investment of up to 0.1 billion US dollars. The first production line has introduced a full set of advanced equipment and technology from Humboldt Company of Germany and ABB Company of Switzerland, reaching the international advanced level in the 1990 s, leading the domestic level of automation. Moreover, it is the first new dry cement production line with 100 anthracite as fuel in China, It is a high-tech industry. While people were still immersed in the joy of the completion of the project, the 1997 Asian financial turmoil came unexpectedly. Longyan Sande suffered extremely heavy pressure, first of all, serious losses after it was put into production, and then the interest and repayment of the loan of US $63 million. Mr. Gao Xinping used the entire surplus of Xiamen Sande Xing to repay it was still not enough, and Longyan Sande was in deep trouble.
